Traditional Service

Our most popular arrangement is a visitation followed by a rosary or evening/prayer service, and concluding with a funeral service and burial/graveside services or cremation/committal services. The visitation is held during the day with a rosary or evening/prayer service in the evening following visitation. The funeral service is then held the day after the rosary or evening/prayer service. If there is a burial, it will follow the funeral service and conclude with a graveside committal service. If there is a cremation, there will be a committal service held at the cemetery or columbarium after the creamians has been received (usually within 24 hours after the funeral service). Price includes basic services of funeral director and staff, embalming and preparation of deceased, facilities and staff for all services, removal vehicle, funeral coach, family car, pallbearers’ car and sundry package.

Modified Traditional Service

This Arrangement Provides for a visitation beginning in the mid morning, followed by a rosary around noon time and an afternoon burial. This is a cost effective alternative because the staff and facility charges are minimized. Price includes basic service of funeral director and staff, embalming and preparation of deceased, facilities and staff for one day of services, staff for graveside funeral service, removal vehicle, funeral coach and sundry package.

Visitation with Memorial Service After Immediate Burial of Cremation

Some families request a private public visitation followed by immediate burial or cremation without embalming. After the cremains have been received or your loved one has been buried, families may arrange for a memorial service. Although embalming is not required for this option, we strongly encourage it. Price includes basic services of funeral director and staff, preparation of deceased, facilities and staff for visitation and memorial service, removal vehicle, funeral coach and sundry package.

Graveside Funeral Service

This is the service at the cemetery with no viewing of your loved one. Preparation of deceased for identification is not required but strongly encouraged. Price includes minimum basic services for funeral director and staff, staff for graveside funeral service, removal vehicle and funeral coach.

Visitation with Graveside Service

This option allows for a visitation immediately prior to transporting your loved one to a cemetery for a graveside funeral service. Embalming is not required, but strongly encouraged. Price includes minimum basic services of funeral director and staff, preparation of deceased, facilities and staff for visitation and graveside funeral service, removal vehicle and funeral coach.

Immediate Burial, Immediate Cremation

This service does not provide for any visitation, memorial service or graveside service. It is a service we provide to immediately bury or cremate your loved one. Preparation of deceased for identification is not required, but strongly encouraged. Price includes minimum basic services of funeral director and staff, removal vehicle and funeral coach. Crematory and cemetery fees are separate.

Forwarding/Recieving Deceased From/To Another Mortuary (outside of New Mexico)

This is a service we offer to our families who have a loved one who has died out-of-state and wish to have them brought here to Salazar & Sons Mortuary for final burial or cremation services. We also provide service to families who wish to transport their loved one to another state for burial or cremation. Price includes minimum basic services of funeral director and staff, funeral coach to cemetery or to removal, funeral coach to/from airport, embalming (for forwarding), and minimum air tray (for forwarding).
